150g Pasture-Raised Droëwors
Traditional South African droëwors made from pasture-raised Free State beef. Spiced with coriander, salt and vinegar, then air-dried into thin sticks. About the beef The cattle this comes from grazed Free State grasslands year-round. Grass-fed beef makes droëwors with deeper flavour and a firmer bite than grain-finished beef. Snap a stick clean and you'll see — the inside is dark, dry, and tight. How to enjoy it Eat it as is, broken off in chunks. Or crumble it into pap, stir-fries, or scrambled eggs. Keeps well in a lunchbox or glove compartment for the moments you needed a snack an hour ago. Storage Keep it in a cool, dry place in a paper bag. Refrigerate if you want it softer or want it to last longer. Best within 2 weeks of opening.
