"Boss" viscose blend drapey ponte - cerise

From deadstock of a famous fashion brand and made in Italy, this is a fantastic viscose blend ponte doubleknit. It is a medium weight fabric with substance but not at all dense. On the lighter side for a ponte knit and more drapey than firm. A highly versatile option with applications as a suiting, dressweight or bottom weight, and appropriate for both tailored and drapey garments. It quite stable for a knit with about 10% stretch in both directions. The color is a very pretty cerise. Sew designer quality dresses, lightweight jackets, suits and pants, skirts, knit tops, etc. Hand wash or machine wash gentle cycle, do not wring and lay flat or hang to dry.
