Mask Bloc LA Fundraiser - 5/31

One week until MBLA's fundraiser! 🗣️ Mask Bloc LA are raising money to continue distributing respirators in the southland 😷💸✨ WHAT: An event with a RAFFLE / SILENT AUCTION / VENDORS with like ceramics, mask chains, and charms for sale, as well the silent auction and raffle for services/larger ticket items. WHY: Our goal is to raise funds in order to keep operations going (purchasing supplies, storage costs) to provide services to our community for free. WHOMST↓ US: We (MBLA) are a mutual aid organization who distributes respirator masks, covid tests, and educational resources for free to anyone in our community who does not have access to them to the best of our ability, focusing our more direct outreach on communities that are most marginalized. We root our work in interdependence, collective care, disability justice, anti-capitalism, anti-imperialism, intersectionality and cross-movement solidarity. We do our work in response to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic as well as new and re-emerging airborne pathogens, wildfires and climate collapse, and crises yet to come. We are having a silent auction for: Photography sessions Dog training Tarot reading And more!
