Shad Fishing Tackle Kit

Our Shad Fishing Tackle Kit is for anglers targeting shad using light spinning fishing equipment and focusing on rivers or river mouths. Shad like depths between 5 and 20 feet and can be caught by casting from shore, spinning and drift-baiting from boats and kayaks. Please note the bag limit for shad (also known as elf) in South Africa is 4 fish per person per day. The minimum size limit is 30 cm total length. Additionally, there is a closed season from October 1st to November 30th.
