Tio Pepe Fino en Rama

Tio Pepe en Rama is an unfiltered and unclarified Tio Pepe, bottled during spring when the flor growth is at its thickest. This spring release has been characterised by an abnormally dry, mild winter that gave way to a cool and rainy spring which created the perfect conditions for a healthy growth of flor. Head Winemaker Antonio Flores carefully selected 69 barrels for this release, This En Rama is alive with flavour and has more nutty and yeasty aromas than the usual Tio Pepe and on the palate it is fresh and citrusy, with a complex, saline finish. 'En Rama' is the term used in the bodega for sherry in its raw, most delicate state, as if drinking directly from the cask itself.
