Cake Camp: At the Movies, July 13-16, Grades 3-6

Lights, camera, decorate! Cake Hoopla's At the Movies Cake Camp turns the excitement of the big screen into a hands-on cake-decorating adventure for creative kids who love movies, storytelling, and bold design. From animated favorites and fantasy worlds to heroic moments and larger-than-life characters, this camp is all about translating movie magic into edible art. Over four fun-filled days, campers will step behind the scenes of cake decorating, learning how to use frosting, fondant, and professional tools to decorate cakes and cupcakes, all inspired by the blockbuster movies kids are buzzing about -- think K-Pop Demon Hunters, Super Mario Galaxy, Moana, and more! As the week builds toward the finale, campers will develop their skills through practice and experimentation, leading up to the final day, when each camper decorates a 6" movie-inspired cake masterpiece to take home. Along the way, they’ll earn Cake Camp Achievements, explore design ideas in a sketch notebook, and enjoy movie-themed games and challenges that keep the energy high. Whether this is a camper’s first Cake Camp or a return to the spotlight, At the Movies Cake Camp delivers a fresh experience packed with creativity, confidence-building, and just the right amount of Hollywood flair. WHAT’S INCLUDED: A reusable, washable apron to decorate and wear throughout camp (repeat campers can size up or choose another item to decorate) A cake-decorating beginner's tool kit to take home and practice after camp is over, including a small offset spatula, piping tips, and piping bags A design notebook to sketch their movie-themed creations 6 cupcakes to decorate and bring home A sprinkle mix customized by the camper to take home Cake Camp Achievements that mark campers progress and celebrate what they’ve learned A 6" cake to decorate and bring home on the final day Daily vegetarian, nut-free snack break (campers may bring additional snacks if needed) Popcorn party on the final day! CAMP DETAILS: Dates: Monday-Thursday, July 13-16, 2026 Time: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm Location: Cake Hoopla, 7173 SW Dartmouth St., Tigard, OR 97223 REQUIREMENTS: For kids in grades 3–6 or equivalent age range/skillset Bring a refillable water bottle Wear comfortable, mess-friendly clothing A parent or guardian must sign a Waiver, Release, and Behavior Policy IMPORTANT NOTES: Minimum Participation. At least 5 participants must sign up for this camp to take place. If fewer than 5 participants register, the camp will be canceled, and all bookings will be fully refunded with at least one week's. Refund Policy. If you need to cancel your Cake Camp booking, you may do so for a full refund by emailing hey@cakehoopla.com on or before 14 days prior to the start of the camp. Cancellations made thereafter will be issued store credit in the form of an electronic gift card. No-shows are ineligible for any type of refund or store credit.
