The fall front opens to reveal a well-fitted interior, comprising a central cupboard flanked by pigeon holes and an arrangement of small drawers, providing ample storage for correspondence and writing accessories. Below are two short over three long graduated drawers, each fitted with brass swan-neck handles and escutcheons.
