`Séguret` Côtes-du-Rhône Villages Domaine des Bosquets 2022

Domaine des Bosquets is home to the first Gigondas plantings of 1376. The domaine’s 26 hectares of vines, aged up to 75 years old, are planted at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail. It is run by Julien Bréchet, who took over his family domaine in 2006. Julien has made a name for himself as one of the rising stars of Gigondas, with wine critic Josh Raynolds asserting that Julien “has quickly climbed to the top tier of not just the Gigondas quality ladder, but that of the whole Rhône Valley”. This wine has an intense nose with aromas of ripe blackberry, lavender and pepper. On the palate, well-defined fruit is complemented by silky tannins and juicy acidity.
