Dockrillia teretifolia, commonly known as the Bridal Veil Orchid or Thin Pencil Orchid, is one of the most floriferous of the terete-leafed Australian natives, capable of producing cascading racemes of fragrant, spidery white to cream flowers with fine markings in spring. The 'Lake Macquarie Giant' cultivar name reflects a plant selected for vigour and scale — seedlings from a self cross of this parent have a good chance of inheriting that robust growth, though individual variation will still occur.
