Chateau Panchille, ‘Cuvee Alix’, Entre-Deux-Mers, Bordeaux, Magnum 2018: This domaine's top cuvée is named after Panchille's daughter, made of 90% merlot and 10% Bordeaux Blend Reds, from vines aged for 45 years on average. The wine is aged for 12 months in oak barrels and stored for 6 months in caves before bottling. This is a rich, complex wine with typical Bordeaux characteristics such as aromas of red and dark fruit, subtly supported by a touch of wood. Alc 14.5% Grapes: Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Petit Verdot.
