Incident Reporting
What is an incident? What counts as a reportable incident? An incident is an act, omission, event, or circumstance. In other words, it is something that happens. A reportable incident is a serious incident or alleged incident which results in harm to an NDIS participant and occurs in connection with NDIS supports and services. Support workers will learn the various scenarios where they, or their organisation, would have to report an incident to the NDIS Commission. It also outlines their roles and responsibilities if they witness or are informed of an incident.
