Ashleigh Barrowman, 'High Priestess' Pinot Noir, 2022

This is a light Pinot Noir brimming with elegance thanks to gentle cap handling and hand destemming of berries. Fine tannins and a savoury edge run beneath armfuls of bright fresh blueberries, strawberries and raspberries. Having been a travelling winemaker all over the world, this wine is particularly influenced by time with Jean-Baptiste and Florien at Les Bottes Rouges in the Jura. The wine is a labour of love, inspired by The High Priestess; the archetype of the divine feminine.
