Blending In, Standing Out Coffee Cold 8-Pack

A collaborative coffee cold can with Loc Hong to celebrate his frist solo show, Blending In Standing Out at Great Lakes Tattoo on June 27th! DMC has worked with Loc on a variety of projects over the years as he explores new mediums to expand and hone his skills. Some of the most recent works include the gold leaf lettering on the exterior of Adios Amigos, The Mothership, and Sleep Walk. Check out his Instagram for more pictures and videos of his work! For this cold coffee, we are working with two Central American beans, one from the Pacas Family in El Salvador and the other from the San Jeronimo team in Guatemala. First up, we have a juicy and bright Pacas grown high on the slopes of finca El Corozo, where gentle morning sun, volcanic soil, and that high altitude create a perfect environment for coffee to grow. After harvesting these cherries, they are dried for 3-4 weeks on raised mesh beds under shade to slowly ferment and create all the fruity, berry notes we enjoy from this coffee. We paired this with an earthier washed processed Manchamé from Finca San Jeronimo in Guatemala to tame some of the wilderness and bring balance to the blend. This cultivar is named after Francisco Manchamé, who first discovered this Catimor and Pacamara mutation in the 80s, and is also referred to as Anacafe 14, becoming a more widely cultivated variety in recent years. Together, we have a fudgy, fruity iced coffee that is easy drinking as we see hotter days!
