VOOID - Vooid

VOOID, the Taipei-based indie rock band led by Hong Shen-hao (formerly of Transparent Magazine), is releasing two works simultaneously: an LP and a 7-inch single. VOOID has become an indispensable presence when discussing the recent Taiwanese indie scene. Over the past year, their live performances have consistently sold out, and in the summer, they sold out two days of their Taipei solo shows, held in an unusual format with "no announcements on social media," drawing 1000 people. Their momentum was solidified by their full-length album, "VOOID 2025," released last year, their first in approximately eight years. It's been hailed as one of the best albums of the year among indie listeners and is considered a landmark in Taipei's indie history. Hong Shen-hao has been involved in the scene for about 20 years, starting from his time with Transparent Magazine. In fact, it could be said that he is currently at the peak of his career.
