Domaine de la Berangeraie, Cahor 'Les Quatre Chambrees', 2018

This wine offers layers of black cherry, brambles and liquorice with rich almond frangipane and fresh violet blooms. On there is a nose of freshly grilled steak, pointing you to the perfect pairing. This is a punchy wine with a long finish, rounded out with just a touch of menthol. This is a Malbec that delivers the punch that Malbec is known for, but with great finesse and without the oak aging.
