Manual Handling for MHE Technicians

Unlike generic manual handling courses, this course has been specially developed to address typical FLT technician tasks. Through a combination of theory and practice, learners will gain a thorough understanding of: How injuries occur and the importance of lifting correctly Assessing the task Posture and stance Techniques for lifting, manoeuvring and moving loads Lifting from different heights Van and MHE entry and egress Lifting in and out of a van Handling of jacks, oil drums and LPG cylinders Lifting and carrying as a team of 2 or more persons Lifting components from awkward locations Certificate of attendance to be issued Duration: Half day (morning and afternoon sessions available) Course schedule: 11 June with further dates to follow Location: UKMHA, Unit G1A and G1B, Beauchamp Business Park, Wistow Road, Kibworth, Leicestershire, LE8 0YE This course is currently only available to UKMHA members.
