DESCRIPTION PU 523 is a single-component (moisture curing),polyurethane joint sealant. The sealant has a 25% joint movement capability. It has good gunning,tooling and cure characteristics over a wide temperature and humidity range BASIC USES • Under waterproofing membranes • Cast in place concrete • Precast panels • Brick and block work • General purpose perimeter caulking FEATURES & BENEFITS • No bubbling/blistering when cured under conditions of high temperature and humidity. • Excellent adhesion on a wide variety of substrates. • Excellent gunning, tooling and storage stability over a wide range of temperatures. • Good chemical resistance. • Can be overpainted with water based paints. Other types of paints should be discussed with tech service.
