ASKAR SQA60 PRO f/4.6 APO REFRACTOR

The Askar SQA60 Pro is an apochromatic sextuplet flat-field astrograph that offers high performance thanks to its air-spaced lens design with 2 SD elements. Being a Petzval, the SQA60 Pro does not require the camera to be at a specific backfocus distance. With a 44mm full frame image circle, central star size RMS radius of less than 1µm and less than 2.4µm at 22mm off-axis, plus full-field illumination of over 95% at the edge of the field, the SQA60 Pro has superb image quality. The SQA60 Pro has a 2.8" dual-speed rack & pinion focuser which is compatible with most motorized focusers on the market, such as the ZWO EAF, Touptek AAF or QHY Q-Focuser. The entire focuser barrel is CNC-machined for a superior strength and rigidity. Anti-reflective matte paint inside the tube ensures that the stray light is kept to a minimum. The SQA60 Pro includes a standard M48 x 0.75 rear thread for an easy connection to most off axis guiders, filter wheels and cameras. The high-precision 360 degree rotator is engraved with a micrometric scale, making repeatable framing of astronomical targets straightforward. Two finder brackets on the focuser as well as a finder saddle on the top of the clamshell ring allow you to connect a variety of accessories such as guide scopes and control units. The 290 mm Vixen style dovetail plate gives you plenty of room to balance the scope with most imaging trains. A durable water resistant resin case with EVA foam interior keeps the telescope safe and offers plenty of space for additional accessories.
