During my inaugural trip to the Western Arthurs in Tasmania in 2018, I encountered relentless bouts of extreme weather. Yet, amidst the challenges, I was treated to a rare sight: a stunning cloud inversion extending over the entirety of Lake Oberon. Seeing this breathtaking scene unfold with my eyes and then to see it captured on my camera left me in awe, as if I had stumbled upon a hidden treasure amidst the adversity of the elements.
