Pure 48 is used for quick production of wort. Optimal fermentation temperature is 20-25 °C, with a maximum of 35 °C. A 135 g package is designed for 6 kg of sugar and 25 liters of water. Fermentation takes 2 days resulting in a 14% alcohol content. Extended fermentation up to 7 days with 9 kg of sugar can achieve 21% alcohol. Shelf life is 2 years from production date.
