Mac’s Mud Buff (MB2) is a traditional clay body suitable for throwing and handbuilding, with properties ideal for both small and large-scale work.
- MB2 has slightly higher shrinkage and more vitreous qualities at cone 6.
- Firing above cone 10 may cause warping or bloating.
- Total shrinkage ranges from 12-13% at cone 5 and 6, and absorption ranges from 1.5-2.5% at cone 5 and 6.
