Gee Vaucher - Oh America (White/Black)

** This item is a preorder and is expected to ship first week of December ** We are launching a fundraising campaign to establish THE GEE VAUCHER FOUNDATION and we need your support. The Foundation has been set up to preserve and share the work of Gee Vaucher. The first phase and priority is archiving Gee’s original artwork – there are at least 2,000 drawings, paintings, collages, sculptures and films, including the Crass artwork, to work with. We need to preserve this collection using museum-grade boxes and portfolios and source the right storage, both in real life and in the digital world. We also want to catalogue the work so it’s easy to find. Finally, we want you to be able to access it online, wherever you may be in the world, through our website. We are aiming to raise £100,000 for this first phase. When this has been raised, the Foundation will move on to phase two - Finding the right building to house the work. Here, Gee’s work will be kept, able to be seen and be a space for others to work and exhibit. A big dream. So, please, help us kick things off and achieve the first phase.
