Army Men RTS | Nintendo GameCube

Command a miniature battlefieldArmy Men RTS turns toy soldiers into a real-time strategy force. Lead the Green Army through environments where everyday objects become obstacles, resources and defensive positions. Instead of controlling one soldier through an action level, you manage the larger battle: establish a base, gather materials and build the units needed to advance.Plastic and electricity support your growing army, making resource collection part of every operation. Construction and production decisions compete for those resources, so expanding quickly needs to be balanced against protecting what you already have. Infantry, vehicles and specialized units give you different ways to respond to enemy positions rather than relying on a single type of attack. The small-scale setting makes positioning especially important. Paths through a room or garden can funnel units into danger, while a supported advance gives vulnerable troops a better chance of reaching their objective. Mission goals provide structure, but the timing of reinforcements and the composition of your force remain central decisions throughout a battle. This GameCube version brings the Army Men strategy formula to console controls and a single-player campaign. It suits players who enjoy organizing a force, watching a plan develop and adapting when the opposing army disrupts it.GameCube editionThis is the North American GameCube disc release published by Global Star Software, rated Teen.
