Here is a really beautiful 2023 Gibson Custom Shop Murphy Lab 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue in Iced Tea Sunburst. This one has a fantastic top with a tight, blistery figure that is somewhat reminiscent of Billy Gibbons' famous Pearly Gates with a bit more red. The guitar looks killer and has just the right amount of Murphy Lab aging to give it a convincing vintage vibe without being overly beat up. It's a really attractive example with the kind of top and overall look that make these R9s so desirable. It plays easily and is a joy to play. The neck measures 0.88" at the first fret and 1.00" at the 12th fret, giving it a nice substantial feel. This is a really excellent Les Paul with a great combination of looks, playability, and vintage character. It comes complete with the original Gibson Custom Shop hardshell case, COA, and all the original paperwork and extras, as shown. At 8.2 lbs., it's also a very comfortable weight for a Les Paul.
