Awesome Auroras - 2027 Calendar

Introducing my Awesome Auroras 2027 Calendar! This is the fourth year of my Awesome Auroras calendar, and I think it's my best one yet. Ten of the months are my favorite aurora photos from Alaska and Churchill, Manitoba, hand-selected from thousands of images. Each month comes with a sidebar that tells the story behind the photo and teaches you something new about the science of the aurora, so the calendar brings you along on the chase all year.New for 2027, June and July came from my followers. Those are the two months with no aurora over Alaska, so I opened them up to a photo contest. "Rainbow Magic" by Lisa Lirones, taken over Torch Lake, Michigan, won the public vote for June, and I picked "Kenosee STEVE" by Neil Zeller, taken at Kenosee Lake, Saskatchewan, for July. Features: Twelve aurora photos, each with its title, location, and a map showing where it was taken. A sidebar for every month about the photo and the science of the aurora. New, first-quarter, full, and last-quarter moon phases, with the traditional full moon names. Meteor shower peaks with expected rates. Solar and lunar eclipses, including the total solar eclipse of August 2, 2027. The equinoxes and solstices, plus the anniversaries of the May 2024 geomagnetic storm and the 1859 Carrington Event. U.S. and Canadian federal holidays, plus popular observances like Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, and Halloween. Small calendars of the previous and next month on every page. Specifications: 11" x 16.5" (vertical) size, with a wire binding and a hook for hanging. A cover, twelve month pages, and a back cover. Printed in vibrant, full color on 250gsm coated silk paper (100 lb cover) with professional packaging. Made with FSC-certified paper and printed close to you to cut shipping distance.
