The speaker also features a high-damping butyl rubber surround, a 1-inch silk soft-dome tweeter, and a 3-ohm multi-layer voice coil designed to make better use of amplifier power. Its integrated 6 dB high-pass crossover helps provide smoother high-frequency response and improved power handling.
