OVERVIEW This alcohol heating lamp is a great way to heat up your tools for use in creasing, smoothing out edge paint, embossing and more. Some leathers, due to softness or tannage, will only take a crease or embossed stamp with heat. The lamp can be filled with denatured alcohol common at local Home Depot or Lowes. Make sure the wick is saturated and at that point, the lamp is ready to be lit and will produce a nice flame. To fill, unscrew brass fitting, fill with denatured alcohol and refit fitting.
