Get help choosing your stickElite CKF90i — Ultimate shape with a Direct / Powerful responseThe Elite CKF90i is for indoor players whose hockey genuinely benefits from Mercian's Ultimate low-bend shape and who want the most Direct / Powerful response in the current four-stick indoor range. Why choose the CKF90i?Choose the CKF90i when fast execution, powerful push passing, quick releases and drag-flick technique benefit from Ultimate shape and you deliberately prefer a firmer, more direct response. Its construction combines 90% carbon with a fibreglass and Kevlar-reinforced skeleton. That construction contributes high stiffness and responsiveness; the percentage explains the build and is not a quality or player-level score.Ultimate bend / shapeThe current CKF90i specification uses a 24.5 mm maximum bend at 200 mm from the head. Ultimate should be chosen because its shape helps the player's real indoor skills, not because it represents a higher level.Direct / Powerful responseThe CKF90i sits in Direct / Powerful in Mercian's current indoor response range. It gives the most direct response of the four current indoor sticks, which is useful only when that feel suits the player and the hockey they actually play.Useful technology Triple-process vibration control: piezo-electric fibres, M-Gel and EVA under the grip help manage vibration while retaining a direct response. Nano-polymer resin: strengthens the bond between composite layers. Lightweight indoor profile: supports fast execution and control in confined spaces. When another current option may suit betterIf you want to keep Ultimate shape but prefer a less direct Balanced / Direct response, compare the Evolution CKF75i.If Pro shape and a softer response better fit the way you play, compare the Genesis CF25i. Those are different requirements, not upgrades and downgrades.SizesCurrent CKF90i variants are available in 36.5" and 37.5". Length is a fit and handling decision, not a player-level rule.Still comparing?Understand Mercian stick bends Understand Power, Touch & Carbon Return to Guided Stick Choice
