EL34 push-pull valve design The preamp stage runs three 12AU7/ECC82 tubes, while the output stage uses four matched EL34 tubes in Class AB1 push-pull. It is a proven configuration known for rich tonal colour and expressive, musical delivery, and it pairs comfortably with a wide range of loudspeakers through dedicated 4 and 8 ohm speaker taps. Triode or ultralinear: choose your sound Triode mode: 17W + 17W for a smooth, detailed and intimate presentation. Ultralinear mode: 35W + 35W for more dynamics, grip and energy. Handmade transformers and point-to-point wiring A handmade, low magnetic leakage toroidal power transformer and wide-bandwidth EI output transformers supply clean power and a natural tonal character. Inside, the Jazz 70 is hand assembled with fine point-to-point wiring, in keeping with Cayin's traditional craftsmanship.
