The insulation behind it is 700-fill-power 100% Recycled Down, so the warmth-to-weight ratio is where it needs to be for a jacket that also needs to survive real use. The underarms and cuffs swap down for 80g Thermogreen synthetic insulation, which handles moisture better in the zones that sweat and flex most. Discontinuous quilting keeps the down in place and prioritizes overhead reach, which matters on a technical approach or a multi-pitch climb where shoulder mobility gets compromised first.
