2022 Vecchia Vigna

An elegant, articulate Tuscan red that invites you in from the very first glass. Bright ruby in colour, it opens with wild cherry, blood orange, crushed violet and a refreshing lift of mint. On the palate it is graceful and lively, with fine, polished tannins, notes of raspberry and wild strawberry, and a fresh, energetic finish that lingers with red fruit and flowers. Crafted from old-vine Sangiovese (70%) with traditional Tuscan varieties (10% Colorino, 5% Canaiolo, 5% Ciliegiolo, 5% Malvasia, 5% Trebbiano), sourced from high-altitude vineyards between Panzano and Montefioralle, and aged 18 months in large oak followed by 8 months in bottle, it combines traditional character with a beautifully polished touch.
