Nick Alm - Watering Plants

Nick Alm (b. 1985 in Eksjö) discovered the joy of painting with oil and watercolor at an early age and is today one of Sweden's most noted artists within the realistic tradition. As in a memory, the figures live in a detailed focus, while the periphery is gently blurred. The emotions and tension that arise between the individuals are conveyed in a wordless and direct communication with the viewer. Nick Alm has studied classical figurative painting from a live model in Florence, landscape painting with the Hudson River Fellowship in New York and for a long time with the Norwegian artist Odd Nerdrum. He exhibits regularly in Sweden and internationally and has received several international awards. Technique: Oil Material: Canvas Size: 65 x 56 cm incl. frame (53 x 44 cm excl. frame)
