Waldorf-Inspired Wooden Animal Puzzle

Give an animal picture puzzle a second life in imaginative play. The whole-piece character lifts out of its wooden frame, ready for storytelling as well as puzzling. With no picture printed underneath as a guide, children can explore where each piece belongs by looking closely and trying again.Based on Pam Chanarin’s original watercolour artwork, the design is digitally printed on birch-plywood and sealed with a non-toxic, water-based varnish. Pam’s family began making wooden picture puzzles more than 45 years ago; that tradition now continues in partnership with Envirokid.
