Chambolle-Musigny ‘Les Creux Baissants’
Adrien calls this his Grand Cru. Officially, it’s a Chambolle-Musigny Village, but there’s absolutely nothing ordinary about Les Creux-Baissants. Produced from 80-year-old vines on a challenging limestone hillside, this extraordinary parcel is cultivated entirely by horse and hand, without conventional machinery. The 2024 is vinified with 100% whole bunches, producing a wonderfully complex Pinot Noir with beautiful blackcurrant and cherry fruit, delicate herbal notes and an intoxicating suggestion of black pepper and clove. A wine of remarkable elegance and character, with every single bottle individually numbered. Something very special indeed.
