Vintage Hydrangea Fabric- By The Metre
We have sourced the most OMG fabric you will ever find anywhere!! Strictly 20 meters available once its gone we CAN NOT get more!!!! What a privileged to come across an exclusive vintage find of "Hydrangea fabric circa 2005" designed by George Hardwick senior lecturer, Textile Design Sydney Collage of The Arts University of Technology Sydney, hand printed at UTS. The design references the massed Hydrangea gardens favoured by the historical Architect Hardy Wilson in his illustrated publication "Old Colonial Architecture in NSW and Tasmania' 1924. This fabric print was specifically commissioned to be used for the soft furnishings in Blandford (Lacmalac) a house at Leura in the Blue Mountains designed by Hardy Wilson 1911. As far as we can tell this vintage fabric is pure mid-heavy weight linen, screen printed width 135cm, expect minor imperfections due to the vintage nature and hand screen printing. Perfectly imperfect. What should I make? Cushions, soft furnishings, lamp shades, bags and upholstery, roman blinds anything that requires a firm mid/heavy weight quality fabric. Care instructions- Dry clean only Tips when ordering fabric Fabric will always come in one length regardless of what you order. For example, if you choose 3m, you can order 1m and 2m (1 quantity of each) and it will arrive to you as 1 x 3m length. Fabric comes in half metres too! Happy creating! T/C - NO returns on cut fabric.
