Clean, Elegant Acidity with Pure Sweetness The Single-Field Series was created from the brewery’s deep connection to its hometown of Kashiwazaki. Using the same brewing recipe each time, the series highlights the unique character of rice grown in individual fields. Akada comes from a field near a local village. The aroma is fresh and inviting, with notes of green apple and a sweet-tart, yogurt-like lactic character. On the palate, a mineral touch is followed by firm citrus-like acidity. Gentle sweetness layers in softly, creating a well-balanced profile. The flavors gradually taper off toward a clean, elegant finish. Serve well chilled to bring out its sharp, crisp character. It pairs particularly well with shellfish, enhancing their delicate umami and briny flavors.
