Handmade Ceramic Salt Cellar

This handmade, wabi sabi, ceramic salt cellar is crafted with care in our cottage studio in Maine. Designed to keep your salt dry, breathable, and easy to reach for while cooking. Its elegant but rustic design makes it a stunning piece for kitchen decor. Glazed by hand in our signature glaze, Rustic Espresso. Rustic Espresso is a deep brown, almost black finish with soft, warm brown undertones coming through for a warm and elegant feel. Approx. 4" wide by 3.5" tall with a 2.5" opening. Each salt cellar is made to order, made by hand from black clay and finished with a hand applied glaze, creating a one of a kind piece with its own warmth and character. Fired at a minimum 2167°F, it’s designed to be both durable and beautiful for everyday use. Your salt cellar will arrive carefully packaged in beautiful, eco-friendly packaging, ready to use or give as a thoughtful gift. The bottom of the piece is carefully polished before packaging to ensure it is gentle on surfaces. Because each piece is handmade, slight variations in size, shape, and color are to be expected. These natural differences are not imperfections but a reflection of the unique and one of a kind character of each piece. All of our ceramics are made with lead free, food safe glazes. For the best care and to keep them in great condition, we recommend washing by hand.
