PrimePrime the entire model in grey or off-white for a neutral foundation that suits both the cool beast hide and the warm leather tones above.2. Armour Base Base the rider's armour plates in a mid-brown leather tone, then layer up with a warm tan highlight on raised edges and straps. Paint the beast hide in a desaturated teal blue, keeping coverage smooth across the large body surfaces with thin, even coats. 3. Trim and Details Pick out buckles, clasps, and mechanical fittings on the beast's head in dark gunmetal, then drybrush lightly with bright silver for a worn metal finish.
