Romanée-Saint-Vivant Grand Cru
Planted in 1926, Arnoux-Lachaux’s Romanée-Saint-Vivant vines were 97 years old in the 2022 vintage. The holding sits just below Romanée-Conti, on slightly deeper soils over ancient Jurassic limestone. The wine itself is harder to reduce to tasting notes. Delicate yet powerful, detailed yet effortless, with fresh red cherry carried through a finish of extraordinary persistence. 2022 also marks the Domaine’s first vintage raised entirely in ceramic. Please note: We work directly with the Domaine, therefore all wines are available strictly on allocation. The wines are intended for drinking, not trading and are priced accordingly.
