Apse Silk Handtufted Carpet

Apse is built from overlapping arches, like a row of doorways receding into one another. The forms rise in layers of sand, beige and soft taupe over a pale grey ground, each curve sitting slightly raised above the flat field around it.The repeated arch gives a room rhythm without pattern noise. Apse suits a hallway, study or living room, sitting well with pale wood, white walls, rattan and warm neutrals.Slight variations in pattern and colour are part of each rug's handmade character.
