Ask a question Cut-to-Fit Stair & Balcony Railing Safety Mesh This flexible mesh wraps easily around stair and balcony railings of many shapes, then secures in place with the included zip ties. Installation is straightforward and helps block gaps so little hands and curious heads don’t reach or get stuck—making your home feel safer for kids. Clear, Strong Coverage Full mesh coverage helps reduce both entrapment and fall risks while keeping your décor open and airy. Railings are often placed at height and adult‑sized gaps can be wide for children; this soft mesh wraps most railing styles edge‑to‑edge. The 0.2 in (about 5 mm) openings are small enough to help keep tiny fingers from slipping through, offering a cost‑efficient way to guard wide baluster spacing. Tie‑On In Minutes The mesh has gentle give, and the included zip ties need only a solid anchor point—no extra tools or extra hands required. Cinch the ties to make the mesh tighter or more form‑fitting, and secure all load‑bearing edges for a reinforced wrap. Safety note: avoid trimming tie tails after installation, as cut edges can be sharp. Cut To Your Space For irregular layouts or non‑standard surfaces, simply use household scissors to cut the mesh to size for a cleaner, tailored wrap. This cut‑to‑fit design adapts to more areas while maximizing material use. Stairs, Balconies, Cribs Use it on stair railings, balcony railings, and even cribs with wider slat spacing, among many other spots where little ones might reach through. It’s a practical way to help prevent kids from getting stuck. Always install securely and use with appropriate supervision; follow safe‑use guidelines for your specific furniture. Easy‑Care Polyester Made of durable polyester that resists stretching out of shape, the mesh rinses clean when spills happen and can be wrung dry without deforming—easy upkeep for long‑term use. Note: do not tumble dry or wash with high heat, which may cause warping. Tie Alternatives Ready No zip ties on hand? You can also secure the mesh with rope. Thread it through the mesh openings and fasten to posts, rails, or other column‑shaped surfaces. Low Upkeep, Big Value When it’s time to take it down, simply snip the zip ties to remove the mesh and restore your space. During your child’s early years, this temporary layer adds peace of mind and can reduce the need for constant hovering—without long‑term changes to your décor. Sizing Made Easy If you’re between sizes, choose the larger option. Extra material can be folded and secured with ties for a clean finish, while a smaller size may not provide full coverage.
