A Different Kind of Double Design KL is now a 4X Knoxville Nationals Champion after a very unexpected, whirlwind of a day! What looked like his week would end with just a win on Sunday at the Capitani Classic, a win Monday at the Front Row Challenge, and a Prelim win Thursday at Knoxville, a rain delay made the evening much more exciting. KL was radioed in the No. 5 car by crew chief, Cliff Daniels, while racing at Richmond that Knoxville was under a rain delay and they were working on plans to get him there. After he completed his 6th place finish, he hopped on a less than two hour flight to Pella, where he landed and was escorted to Knoxville. He arrived to the track just before the Last Chance Showdown. He went on to lead all 50 laps and claim his 4th Knoxville Nationals Championship. A night we will all certainly never forget!
