1970s Defil Baston Bass

Raw, thick and dripping with Eastern Bloc attitude, the Defil Baston is a true cult bass from one of Europe's most fascinating guitar makers. Defil built instruments in Poland behind the Iron Curtain, and their basses powered countless bands across Eastern Europe through the 1970s with a voice and look entirely their own. This 1970s Baston is a rare and characterful find that delivers a fat, old-school thump and stops people in their tracks before you have played a note. All instruments sold by Clingan Guitar Tone are inspected, serviced, and set up by our professionally trained guitar and amp technicians, ensuring they perform at their absolute best.
