This is an amazing 1950s Mexican full circle skirt by Mitla S.A., made in Mexico. Crafted from ivory cotton with a wonderfully colourful hand-printed design titled Fiesta Gitana, featuring dancing women in flowing dresses, musicians, traditional wagons, horses, trees and flowers. A beautiful, lively scene in vibrant shades of turquoise blue, green, pink and earthy brown. The skirt features an exceptionally full circular silhouette, two practical side pockets and a contrasting black waistband with ties. The original Mitla label is still attached. A truly charming example of 1950s Mexican novelty fashion, with a spectacular print that comes to life when worn!
