The Helium is Peak Performance's best-selling down jacket, and this is the junior version with the same iconic wave quilting. It's featherlight and packs down small, so it lives in the ski bag as the extra layer under a shell on cold days, then goes straight on for après, the walk to the car or school runs in winter. The shell is windproof and shrugs off light snow and drizzle, and the hood zips off when it isn't needed.
