2019 White Cap Riesling

2019 White Cap Riesling This is a wine that we put away with purpose. We have to know where this wine will take us. In celebration of the of the members introduction to White Cap at a whole other level we wanted to include the original White Cap Riesling that sparked another way of looking at how we would harness our vineyards. Strikingly dynamic and deeply layered, this Riesling displays a complexity that defies linearity, evolving constantly in the glass. The nose opens with lemon-lime, green apple, and orchard pear, unfurling toward fuzzy peach, apricot, wild alfalfa honey, and stony flint. On the palate, it achieves incredible balance and a stunning mouthfeel—juxtaposing its modest off-dry sweetness (10.5 g/L RS) and textured lanolin against racy, electric acidity, tart peach, and citrus zest.
