Rolex Submariner Date - Ref 16610 (2005)

Heritage & Design Introduced in 1953, the Rolex Submariner has become one of the most recognisable professional diving watches. Produced from 1988 to 2010, the Ref. 16610 represents an important chapter in the collection’s evolution, introducing the calibre 3135 movement and 904L stainless steel construction to the Submariner Date. Its long production history and traditional proportions have established it as a significant reference within the Submariner lineage. Case & Details This Submariner Date features a 40mm stainless steel case with a gloss black dial, applied luminous hour markers and a date display at 3 o’clock. Its unidirectional rotating dive bezel features a black aluminium insert, while a sapphire crystal with Cyclops magnifier and stainless steel Oyster bracelet complete the design. Water resistance was originally rated to 300 metres. Movement & Provenance Powered by the Rolex calibre 3135 automatic movement, renowned for its robust construction and offering an approximately 48-hour power reserve. This watch comes to us in excellent condition and is offered with box, papers, and it's original green swing tag. Circa 2005.
