Michel Couvreur Special Vatting Peaty Malt Whisky 45% 700ml

A peaty malt whisky from Michel Couvreur, vatted from three single cask whiskies distilled in Scotland, each aged more than 12 years and raised in sherry casks in the house cellars at Bouze-lès-Beaune, Burgundy. A peated malt, the youngest of the three, sits alongside two mellower sherried whiskies, and the vatting is bottled at 45%. The house notes sherry, leather and fruity wood on the nose, with a silky, long palate.
