A love letter to the arts.. in various forms & across multiple mediums.. the Masterpiece tiles are intentionally designed for those who appreciate the beauty & wonder of the arts. Embracing color & honoring creativity, these tiles are not only for the book lovers & art enthusiasts, but also those who enjoy ceramics & theatre, as well as music & photography. While dollops of fresh paint on a classic palette comprise the dots, the soap is a colorful frame of paint supplies & brush strokes. Rows of books under traditional Chinese characters illustrate the craks, and a red dragon appears lost in a novel. The bams in this set depict bamboo shoots amongst various pots & jars, as well as a green dragon throwing pottery at the wheel. Comedy & tragedy masks mark the Jokers with a nod to theatre and the performing arts. Ironically, flowers are seen in photos hanging to dry... and music notes flourish in the wind. Clear fonts & bold hues make this set equally unique and playable for both mahjong novices and enthusiasts alike!
