Aves Paper Mache comes as a dry, white powder made from fine virgin paper pulp: you scoop out what you need, add water and mix to the consistency the job calls for. About three parts mache to one of water gives a batter for pouring into moulds; four to one gives a stiffer mix for pressing on by hand. That makes it handy for scenery shells, hills and substructures on a layout, as well as props and cast pieces.
